The favors are done!

Her hands were tired and sore, but the wedding favors were done. She had hand stitched and embroidered the bags then filled them with the chocolates and candies that Amber had made. The final touch had been to thread the blue and silver ribbons and tie the bags shut. They looked beautiful, black fabric with the silver stitching of the names and date of the wedding. And when making the treats, they had been sure to take into any allergies and other health issues that the guests might have. The wedding date was fast approaching and all jobs were done except decorating the reception hall which was being done the night before.

The Invitations Said “Yes”

We were on a field trip gather ecological samples for our upcoming semester exam. My best friend and love of my life was striding through the sludge by my side. I don’t know what came over him! Perhaps it was the mud, the bugs, the thick air, who can say? One minute we were thigh deep in a swamp and the next minute he asked me to marry him. I was so overcome with surprise that I burst out in laughter. The other students all came to a sudden halt. He stood there, covered in dirty water with the sweetest look of anticipation on his face. I couldn’t resist so I dropped my test tubes and emphatically placed a huge kiss on his grungy lips. Leaning back with everyone looking on I asked “Where can we buy wedding invitations?” He broke into the biggest smile and we have lived happily every after!

Watch The Unity Grow And Flourish

Being conservationists has always been a point of pride for my husband and me. At our recent wedding we performed a unity ceremony while planting a tree sapling. My husband had the soil in a container which symbolized the foundation that would be the basis for our marriage. I provided the sapling representing the desire to help our marriage flourish and grow. Together we planted the sapling in a natural clay pot and watered it making the commitment to nourish our marriage and watch it grow into a strong oak which would someday produce other saplings. It may sound a little corny, but it was beautiful and represented our feelings perfectly.

Sending mail

So many companies do large mail outs. We see them constantly and often do not
even think about what all took place to get that piece of information in our
hands. There are many steps that make that happen. Many companies use Direct
mail services
to make their mail outs go smoothly. There are so many different
considerations to address when doing large mail outs which is why it is a great
idea to have a business that can make it happen for you. By letting them do all
of the product preparations you will be able to get the results you need faster.
They can get small or large volume mail outs in the hands of those who matter.

A country wedding

Country themes for a wedding design are more popular then you may think. Many
couples choose this theme to represent their hometowns or their beginnings. One
of the many country weddings we read about the couple got married in a creek.
Not beside a creek but actually in the creek waters. The bride’s dress was
specially crafted to not ruin in the creek water. It was certainly a first
wedding we have read about done that way. The wedding favors were squirrel tails
in a glass display box for the luck of the future to come for the newlyweds
marriage. It was a unique and original design done well by the wedding designer
and the whole team that brought that wedding to life.

Recycle, Reuse and Reduce With Your Printing Supplies

“Going Green” is becoming a very popular term in this century. The green printing industry is beginning to jump on the band wagon by using recycled paper products to soy ink.  By using recycled paper you are saving the trees along with the waste we leave behind every day.  Recycling of inks or using soy based ink also saves on the chemical products that have to be used to reset and clean the printers and machinery used for the large printing presses.  Another great attempt which is being made by the printing industry is actually recycling all of the press solutions and plates which they use.

When Do I Send Out My Invitations?

You should probably begin to address your invitations for the wedding about
three months ahead of time.  If you are having them professionally printed you
should begin four months ahead.  The rule of thumb is that the invitations be
sent out to the guests eight weeks before the ceremony.  This allows your guests
enough time to make arrangements such as time off, travel planning, baby or pet
sitting, etc. before they send them back to you.  That way you will have enough
time to begin your preparations.  Place cards have to be made.  Your caterer has
to have a head count.  The reception area has to be decided on.  Everything
begins to fall into place once the wedding invitations are mailed and returned.

The Beauty of The Sand

You may ask “What is a Sand Ceremony?” The answer to the question is a modern day way that couples use to personalize their wedding. The ceremony gives a definite edge to their special day. The sand replaces the traditional unity candle ceremony and is great for outdoor weddings since there is no longer concern of the breeze blowing out the flames. The result is a vase filled with alternating sand of varying colors, poured by the bride and groom. This provides a beautiful visual of how the two lives become one as the grains of sand can never be separated from one another. For those brides who are searching for a unique way to distinguish their wedding, this type of ceremony is both elegant and inexpensive.

Including a sand element

There is romance in the air as couples all across the globe are planning their
wedding events. Couples are putting together unique and personal wedding events
that include such enhancements as a sand ceremony. These ceremonies are a way
for couples to add a special moment within a ceremony. They are designed to
symbolize the beginning of their union. A ceremony using sands can be a very
visual and romantic addition to a wedding that hosts any theme. The colors of
sands chosen may go with the color scheme chosen for the wedding event tying it
all together through design.

Catching the wedding on film

A wedding is such a personal event. It is a celebration of the most intimate of unions which is that of a man and woman. We want to share such an important moment in our lives with those who mean the most to us. We also want to capture all of the happenings which take place during our event on film. To accomplish this many couples give disposable wedding cameras to the guests for favors. The guests love getting the candid shots and everyone enjoys seeing the results of the fun on film.
