Her hands were tired and sore, but the wedding favors were done. She had hand stitched and embroidered the bags then filled them with the chocolates and candies that Amber had made. The final touch had been to thread the blue and silver ribbons and tie the bags shut. They looked beautiful, black fabric with the silver stitching of the names and date of the wedding. We were on a field trip gather ecological samples for our upcoming semester exam. My best friend and love of my life was striding through the sludge by my side. I don’t know what came over him!
